Behaviour is the function of your environment
Changing your behaviour is challenging when everything in your environment remains the same.
It gets tough for a person to honk less when they are stuck in a noisy traffic jam.
But the reverse is also true- if you want to change a behaviour, you need to start by altering certain habits. These small shifts in your habits can lead to subtle yet significant changes in your environment.
Just like that when that individual honks less in traffic they make a change in their environment.
It's hard to change your behaviour when your environment stays the same, but don't forget- you are part of that environment too :)
